SAN DIEGO, Jan. 11, 2017 -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that Digital Fusion Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Kratos' Defense & Rocket Support Services (DRSS) Division, is increasing its support of high energy laser demonstrator development through a task order under its U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/Army Forces Strategic Command (USASMDC/ARSTRAT) Integrated Test and Analysis Contract (ITAC) Prime Contract. The task is to assist SMDC with High Energy Laser (HEL) System Engineering, Integration, and Test Support. Kratos support has expanded to include integration and test support at their high bay facility in Huntsville, AL. The integration work in the high bay is in support of the Mobile Expeditionary High Energy Laser demonstrator as it prepares for future Army experiments. DRSS provides products, solutions and services for critical United States National Security Programs including ballistic missile defense, hypersonics, electromagnetic railgun, directed energy and lasers and various combat systems.
